Classes LKG to II
There is no formal examination for Classes LKG to II. The teacher  evaluates the students through continuous and comprehensive evaluation [CCE]. The    testing  is  done simultaneously while teaching or separately. Most of the time the students are not  aware that they are being tested. There will be a  minimum of  6 cycles of CCE. One cycle of CCE means that all the students of the class are tested in all the competencies.
Classes III to X
First Term includes Formative Assessment 1 (Pen-Paper Test & 3 Activities),
Formative Assessment 2 (Pen-Paper Test, 2 Activities & Notebook) and Summative Assessment1 (Pen-PaperTest).
The duration of the First Term is from 1st April to 30th September in an academic session.
Second Term includes Formative Assessment 3 (2 Activities, SAS & Group Discussion), Formative Assessment 4(Pen Paper Test, 2 Activities & Notebook) and Summative Assessment 2 (Pen-Paper Test). The duration of the Second Term is from 1st October to 31st March in an academic session.

A teacher  uses a series of diagnostic tools like Class test (Written as well as Oral), Surprise Test, Class Responses .
